Pull wires through wire hole. Position base on wall, level and mark hole positions. 2. Drill holes (3/16” holes for drywall, 7/32” holes for plas- ter), then tap in supplied wall anchors. 3. Pull wires through base, posi- tion over anchors, and insert screws. Check level if desired, then tighten screws. Base installation 1. Loosen screw terminals, insert bare wires beneath screws, then re-tighten screws. 2. Push any excess wire back into the wall opening 3. Plug the wall opening with nonflammable insulation to prevent drafts from affecting thermostat operation. Terminal Designations R Heating power. Connect to secondary side of heating system transformer. W1 Heat relay. Y 2 Cool relay, or normally open hot water valve. 1 T822K and T827K 2 T822L Wire specifications Use 18-gauge thermostat wire. If at any time during the warranty period the prod- uct is determined to be defective or malfunctions, Honeywell shall repair or replace it (at Honeywell's option). If the product is defective, (i) return it, with a bill of sale or other dated proof of pur- chase, to the place from which you purchased it; or (ii) call Honeywell Customer Care at 1-800-468-1502. Tirez les fils par l’ouverture de la plaque. Placez la plaque sur le mur, mettez-la à niveau et marquez la position des trous. 2. Percez des trous (3/16" pour la cloison sèche, 7/32" pour le plâtre), puis enfoncez les chevilles. 3. Tirer les fils par la base du ther- mostat et insérer les vis. Vérifier si le thermostat est de niveau (facultatif) et serrer les vis. Montage de la plaque 1. Desserrez les bornes à vis, insérez les fils nus sous des vis, puis resserrez les vis. 2. Rentrez les fils qui dépassent dans l'ouverture du mur. 3. Bouchez l’ouverture du mur avec de l’isolant ininflammable pour empêcher les courants d’air de perturber le fonctionnement du thermostat. Désignation des bornes R Alimentation chauffage. Raccorder au côté secondaire du transformateur de l’installation de chauffage. W 1 Relais de chauffage.
